in the middle of the night i call your name

when i was 15 i got glasses.  a friend saw me in them and said "you should
keep wearing them.  they make you look like you might actually be interesting."

I've spent the last 15 years of my life trying to prove to everyone how
interesting and different I really am.  It's shattering to be reminded that
you're average.
